Learning objectives:

Perform ultrasound scanning to identify anatomical structures, verify vessel health, and identify appropriate insertion sites

Demonstrate the use of ultrasound for peripheral, venous, and arterial catheter insertion

Review and practice aseptic technique including hand hygiene, gowning, gloving, establishing a     sterile field, draping, proper dressing, and securement of both venous and arterial peripheral catheters.

Snacks and beverages will be provided
